Bemis will install the plant material listed above using standard landscaping equipment. Prices are quoted with the provision that Bemis can dig holes with the standard equipment. The specialized equipment needed to complete the job will result in an additional charge (jackhammer, skytrack, crane, stump grinder, etc.). Tree and stump removal are an extra charge. Bemis must have proper access to the planting site.
Bemis will provide a marking flag for you to place at the location of each tree to be planted. Failure to set a flag before marking utlitilites and/or Bemis arriving to work may delay the start and completion of the job. Arkansas One-Call must mark the utilities at the planting site before work begins. Bemis will contact Arkansas One-Call. Bemis will use great care not to cause any damage. Bemis is not responsible for the damage or repair of private lines (water, sprinkler/irrigation, sewer, etc.). Bemis is not responsible for damaging or repairing existing ground/landscape structures (landscape borders, sidewalks, driveways, curbs, retaining walls, ruts left in the ground, etc.). The 90-inch tree transplanter truck weighs approximately 40,000 lbs loaded and requires an appropriate amount of space.
Bemis guarantees trees for one calendar year starting at the date of installation with the provision of adequate water and proper care. Bemis offers one replacement tree per tree only. To qualify for a replacement, the client must first provide a photo of the tree in decline at the first signs of distress. Bemis will advise you on the best course of care/action. If the tree shows no improvement after all recommendations have been followed, Bemis will discuss further steps to improve the tree’s health or begin the replacement process.
Significant losses due to negligence or systemic issues are subject to a limited warranty based on the loss percentage. This warranty excludes all plant material that is 15 gallons or less in size. Trees that Bemis does not plant do not qualify for a warranty. Bemis does not replace trees lost due to extreme circumstances, such as freezing temperatures, extreme heat, or natural disasters. Bemis does not replace trees lost due to third-party negligence. Replacement trees are limited in size and variety, depending on availability.
